Before you book
Do I need Agile or Scrum experience?
No. The course suits beginners and anyone refreshing their knowledge.
When and how do I take the exam?
Online, within 90 days of finishing the course, at a time that suits you. There is nothing to schedule: log in when you are ready.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Immediately after passing you receive your official Scrum Alliance certificate and a digital badge.
What technical setup do I need for Virtual Classroom?
Reliable internet, a webcam, a microphone and a computer or tablet. The course runs live on Zoom with Miro and Beekast for interaction.
Does the certification expire?
It does not expire. It is marked inactive after two years if you choose not to renew your Scrum Alliance membership, and most employers still recognise it alongside relevant experience. Gaining a further Scrum Alliance certification renews your existing ones automatically.
How does renewal work?
Renewal uses Scrum Educational Units (SEUs), one per hour of qualifying learning such as reading, webinars, events or writing. CSM and CSPO need 20 SEUs, ACSM and ACSPO need 30, and CSP-SM and CSP-PO need 40.
